Wait for Him

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.  Isaiah 45:7

This morning I prayed for you while I was driving the boys to school.
I prayed for God to hear your prayers of frustration and to remember your dreams and direct your path to His purpose and that you would lean on Him.  I prayed for people to come into your life to encourage you and remind you of His promises.

I also prayed for my nephew Joshua this morning while I was jogging.  In the four months that I have had the sneakers I jog in, not once have the shoe laces come untied.  They're short shoe laces and there isn't hardly enough lace to double tie them and I have thought pretty regularly that it was odd they have never come untied...until this morning.  Three times....they came untied three times today! Stretching back at the house I wondered why it came untied three times today....and decided it was to distract me from praying for Joshua.

This month has been pretty lame for memorizing a verse.  The verse at the top and bottom I have been reflecting on but not really working on memorizing.  However, there is the verse that was part of the K-2 sunday School class, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed" John 20:29...it wasn't a premeditated verse for this month but I learned it nonetheless.

"Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no  eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him."  Isaiah 64:4

I need to post my new memory verse, but I was realizing that I really hadn't memorized the last one. So, I think I will not add a new verse.

Funny about the sneakers... reminds me of my kink-free hose that kinked until I finally got it...

Can I be honest... I don't like to run or jog. Too much jostling around for me. I like walking, but do I do any? Nope.
