Thankful

I am so thankful for my friends. Everytime I get a response to a letter I've written or a phone call or an email I am amazed. So much of my day is spent herding the kids, dog and cat and feeling crazy/grumpy that I cannot imagine anyone wanting to interact with me. And my wonderful husband would rather spend time with me than anyone else...no fishing, sports etc. I am so thankful.

I am so thankful for a wonderful yard. Josh just mowed and it looks beautiful. We sat outside and watched the cardinals enjoy the sprinkler until Mrs. Kitty made her introductions. Robin's beautiful black and white pictures inspired me to take a couple of Elise in our beautiful yard. The trees were filtering the sun so I gave it a try. Alas we had maxed out our memory so I only got a couple of shots. But I am thankful for what I was able to do.

I am thankful that this year God has blessed my plants. Everything is thriving. The Confederate Rose that Anwar gave me has finally pulled through after 4 months of looking dead. He said I could move it and it would live so I did and it looked dead for so long. Josh faithfully watered it when I gave up and now it looks better than before and the other branches that had snaped off have done beautifully as well. The marigolds are the best ever and the tomatoe plants have already produced a fun harvest for Elise and Bayly. Not that I grow tomatoes for the dog but she has helped herself.

Yes I am even thankful for the dog. She is a lot of trouble and brings in more dirt than all three boys and likes to do laps around the yard when I get up at 3 am when I make a trip to lavatory.

Thankful indeed.

I am so proud of you Mommasita! You and Josh have done an incredible job. The flowers look awesome and I bet it is great to sit outside and look at them in the evening. The boys have grown as well as Elise. She is beautiful! I know at times it all can be overwhelming but hang in there and remember your not doing it alone, God is always there to guide and assist. Your pictures turned out great! Keep up the good work.

Love you guys,

Michael and Robin
