Won't you be my neighbor

I love the comment aspect. It is such a positive reinforcement...almost like writing for a class and having their comments...ugh, those days I did not enjoy though. This husband/wife blogging endeavor almost totally fills my need to interact with other couples. The banter, encouragement, and harmless picking is an aspect of socialisation I thoroughly enjoy. So is this posting for others to read or is it a "public diary"? Mike posted that he didn't know if anyone would want to read his blog. When I started I thought that it might be a way for me to keep in touch but I also was just using it as a way to put down thoughts everyday. Robin mentioned in one of her early posts that she hadn't been able to journal for what ever reason and this might be a way to git-r-done (my words, definitely would not attribute that phrase to Robin). Part of me concurred, I used to be a regular journaler until I had a box full of journals that I hated to throw out but had no where to keep. This is a good solution, no storage...unless of course Josh puts an end to my frequent picture downloads...our memory is not so much lately ... but that could be a whole nother post. I am supposed to be washing and trimming the dog right now to get us ready for the trip and here I sit with the sesame street song "These are the people in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood" and "Won't you be my neighbor," from Mr. Rogers running through my head. Will look forward to blogging when we get back, though Josh says he may take the laptop. Isn't this vacation?

Love it...laughing out loud with the laptop comment!
I looked at a few of Laura's things...I'll have to look again when I have more time.

What does "Pants to the knees" mean?

Before I saw your comment Josh said I should re-phrase your tag line.

You can leave it! Now that I get the joke. If it brings a giggle or laugh to your day like it did mine, keep it.
