This is insane, this blogging thing. I can definitely see where I could waste large amounts of my time doing this. I made the mistake of checking out Robin's link to Blogging basics which took me to another site which took me to a another site which then took me back to my site to see what improvements I could make. Sad to say I didn't spend enough time at Blogging Basics to learn anything. Fortunately I can claim this is all for the glory of God because today I added a verse of the day to my sidebar. If it is Christ centered can it be all that bad? Check out C.J. Mahaney's book for the Cross-Centered life, it is a good little book. I figure if I go to a devotion site/verse of the day every time I waste my time on this new hobby I will definitely be able to incorporate more discipleship into my life and don't we all know I need more of that! I also found a great a great website yesterday:Fresh Loaf; News & Information for Amateur Bakers and Artisan Bread Enthusiasts. I didn't get a chance yesterday to read very much on the site but today I look around it a little bit and it has great advice for Pizza and some great bread recipes. This morning I made Stewart (but the family got to benefit) Cinnamon Roles. Oh they were so good. I guess I can forget any weight loss for this week. Any way, all this to say that my successful baking this morning encourages me to get back to baking. I tried grating the butter for my banana bread yesterday (though I used a Fresh Loaf recipe...). Wonderful. It was so much fun to grate the butter I did it again this morning with the cinnamon roles. I guess now would be a good time to look up some gluttony/self control verses. Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us," Amen

Definitely going to look at the website.
Josh was at my mom's trying to hang a lamp from her ceiling and then worked on her computer because her internet was down...that's when he "caught me"
