It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5 : 1

Burden by food, burdened by anger, burdened by "stuff". Today's verse of the day was light to my path. Pespective change: it is not untrue to look at all my weaknesses as temptations but to realize that I am letting the yoke of slavery to rest on my shoulders when Christ has already set me free from all that sin is a wonderful thought. Reminds me of a Ginny Owens song "bearing gifts as if their burdens". Why do I do that? Lord, keep my eyes on your freedom and glory and not on the yoke that so easily ensnares me. Amen
