Weighed last night at 158 even though I had dropped to 153 two or three weeks ago . Robin's mom's comment last week about weighing-in immediately came to my mind when I stepped off the scale. Well shut my mouth! More like move my but though because I haven't walked in almost two weeks let alone jog.
Called my friend Tiffany this morning...we met working at Barnes and Noble 12 years ago and she has moved to 4 different states since and currently resides outside of D.C. A couple of times of year we call each other to keep in touch. She has started walking 2 and 1/2 miles, 4 days a week and has lost 15 lbs since July. Another thing she has taken to is drinking loose leaf green tea. She swears by the Stash brand, it sounded vaguely familiar so I looked in my cupboard and sure enough I had a box of Stash Chai Tea I bought at a Winn-Dixie in Middleburg when I was on my way to pick up my dinning room chairs I bought off Craigslist (I had to stop for a potty break.) Was that too much information? You know I don't shop at WinnDixie so I had to tell you why I was in there. It was on a sale rack right by the rest room door....it was a brand new store too so I figured I was safe. Anyway, Tiffany also says she buys Yamamotoyama. Tiffany is excellent at languages and the name of that tea rolled off her tongue like sweet tea off a southerner's lips. 45minutes of us talking wizzed past and the timer went off that said it was time to go to Homeschool sports so that was all we had time for today. We can easily waste an hour and a half chatting away. I can normally wipe down my whole kitchen while we are on the phone...cupboards, stove, sink, countertops. She always has a good book to reccomend. I think Mrs. Mike is the only one I have actually read. We read Poisonwood Bible and Les Mis together when we worked at B&N. Tiffany is a lot like all of you...always has the best social manners and knows how to say it the nice way...never rude or painfully honest...Although she was the one who pointed out that the reason that Elise is not quiet and compliant is because she is just like me. Hmmmm, I may have to rethink that friendship...just kidding. She is wonderful and I pray for her often.

I am so enjoying your photos!
Sorry about the weight...I've been avoiding the scales, why?
I love catching up with old friends.
How do you brew loose tea? Do you have a loose tea basket thingy?? (obviously the name escapes me at the moment).
okay...my comment to your post was so random...short and to the point! oh well.......
Sidebar question....
What is your new opinion about trick or treating?
We never trick or treated until we were hurricane displaced and I thought a big bag of candy might cheer up the kids. So we walked the streets close by...then it was hard to say no the next year but this year we found some nice baptist churches giving out way more candy then we could ever get going door to scary door.
