Next Week

Heather Bailey's blog has some adorable Felt Hearts that would be great for decorating for Valentines Day. But wait I don't decorate for Valentines Day. Matter of fact, in the corner of my living room I still have a box of random Christmas paraphernalia that kept turning up after we loaded the attic with a kazillion boxes already. Which reminds me that Easter is around the corner and I should pull out my wooden Easter Eggs, and crocheted rabbits that Josh's great grandmother made. Do you decorate any holiday besides Christmas...like say National Doughnut Day... just joking, I am really jonesing for some sugar.

When I first got married, I decorated for everything! Then in time all the knick knacks and stuff to store a whole year for a moment grew weary. So I purged it all! Now Christmas gets all my energies, Valentines brings fresh flowers to the table, and Easter has home-made construction decorations that get tossed at the end of the day.

i don't normally decorate for doughnut day...but i could be persuaded to do so.
actually, i have definitely decorated sparingly for christmas compared to what i used to do. i have some fall decorations, but forgot to even get them out this past fall. i did buy red glitter letters that spell LOVE at target in the $1 section....so i guess i'll be decorating for v-day this year.
i do love the felt hearts that read BE MINE.....very cute. maybe in my spare time i'll whip some up.

There's a doughnut day! Wow, I'd celebrate that!
