Nothing is ever the same as it used to be.
Last year all our school books were delivered on the same day and I took wonderful picture of Stewart standing beside the stack of boxes.
This year we still haven't gotten all our books and we've had two deliveries. At least it isn't overwhelming to unpack and put away over a dozen boxes. We started school anyway. The stuff we haven't gotten yet can be accessed online so it isn't too much of an inconvenience.
The lessons were finished today in record time.
Tomorrow we meet a new piano teacher.
Wednesday I would like the day off, who's with me?

What curriculum do you use?
How have you been able to manage it all?
We use FLVA which is K12 materials. It is a state funded public virtual school. The kids manage most of it, I am a lousy manager.
Let me look into your future....I'm envisioning a day off....
I homeschooled Alina for first and second grade. First grade was great. We used a curriculum from Christian Liberty Academy. For the second grade I wanted her to have something that offered a little more, so, we went with Sonlight Curriculum. Unfortunately, Anna was born that September and I just couldn't get it together. Although, we went through most of the curriculum, she fell behind some, especially in math which already was her poorest subject. That just affected my self confidence in continuing to homeschool her and I didn't think I could do it again. We enrolled the girls at Stratford and they really helped her tremendously. Although math is still her weakest subject she is ahead in all her subjects. By the way, I would download K12s assessments and use them for evaluating Alina.
