A year ago I painted my dining room and a hallway. While I was on a roll I also put painters tape in the bathroom.
Today it was painted, and while I was at it I also painted my laundry room. Cream walls gone and a nice bright white replaced them. Josh was a grand husband and installed a new vanity light (which of course needed a new hole cut in the wall and the old hole puttied multiple times.) Also painted was the vanity mirror frame. It had a "gold" background with a white wash on it is all white. And I painted a brown picture frame red to go with the red stars that our towels hang from. In between all that painting I must have done 5 loads of laundry. Not only to do I have a bright and clean looking bathroom but all the towels are clean as well....and my sheets and well you get the idea. It is so good to get something done? Have checked anything off your to-do list lately that has been on there a long time?

A couple of years ago Glen turned one of the rooms of our basement into a huge walk-in closet. All of our dressers are down there and we have all our clothes hanging up in there. Needless to say the two closets in our bedroom have accumulated two years of junk and finally a couple of weeks ago I cleaned them out. You couldn't even really open the door to my closet it was so bad. But now I can say that they are beautiful and organized. It felt great, I left the doors open for a week or so just to remind myself I had accomplished something. I also wanted to admire my handiwork.

When I've organized a room or closet, I just sit there for a while admiring the neatness and praying that it could remain as such.
