Green with Envy

This little lizard stayed posed in my Oak Hydrangea long enough
for me to go back in the house to get my camera!

Yesterday's verse of the day on Air1 has stayed with me for multiple reasons.
1 Samuel 16:7b "The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
When I started exercising 5 days a week, I said that I was doing it for mental well being, for my health and if I lost weight while doing so then I was all the better. Of course, that's what I said but as the pounds dropped off I kinda got excited. Then we had the Building Inspector party and a ton of not good for me food was left over and then the birthdays and then the cruise and today was not a good scale day to say the least. When I see skinny people that appear to eat whenever and whatever they want my heart goes a little green.

As does mine! I wish I had your motivation. You make great efforts! I, on the other hand, am just all talk! I say I need to work out; I say I want to work out; I say I'm gonna work out, but here I am sitting on my big behind NOT working out. Well, if using the keyboard to type this up is considered working out, then perhaps! :]

You know it's messed up when I catch the flu and one of the thoughts in my head is - "oh goody, maybe I'll loose a couple pounds." Now that is just not right.

Did the Lord leave that little green lizard on your green hydranga just so you could write about being green with envy? Very clever.
