Junior Ranger

Today we met Stewart's friend Sam and his mom out at the Ribault Club/Kingsley Plantation to hear a talk on Shark's Teeth. The blurb on the Park's website said it was going to tell you when and where to find them...turns out we already know...low tide near the WhiteShell Fish Camp. That's where we went with my cousin last year and Susan and were estatic to find 10 until we found out my cousin had found 100. Anyway, after the shark teeth talk we walked around the Ribault club looking at the exhibits and while in the bookstore the park ranger set us up with the Junior Ranger program. We had to read the exhibits and answer the questions, fortunate for us we had been there a handful of times so we almost knew the answers by memory. Then we had to drive down to Kingsley Plantation to answer some questions down there. Of course I forgot my camera AGAIN. They had a wonderful garden set up with Sea Island cotton that looked like a neat form of Hibiscus, and they had indigo plants and some other flowers that I don't remember. The kids got their Ranger Pins and then John-Thomas and Stewart were invited home with Sam so I stoped by to see my aunt since I was almost across the street from her house and I hadn't seen her in a month. I am pooped, it's been an active week.

Sounds like fun.....
We just hung out at home. We did swing by K-Mart after dinner, but didn't find anything that looked like the computer/tv cabinet that you have.

Looks like a good time. We are still recovering from the whole week. It was so much fun seeing you all on Tuesday. I hope we get to do it again soon.
