Mud puddles

Last week it rained record amounts and our street was one big mud puddle. There wasn't any thunder or lightning so Stewart, Elise and Emmett enjoyed a romp in the mud. Josh got home just in time to take some pictures that I wasn't able to post until now. Maybe all that rain had something to do with not exercising last week. I was able to get a walk in on Thursday and today John-Thomas jogged with me. Another thing I had a hard time with last week was learning the fighter verse for the 2cnd and 3rd grade sunday school class. Before the kids say their verse Heidi Rall and I say it first...how embarassing is that when almost all the kids know their verse? I got the gist of it and the kids said I could still get a sticker by my name, this week doesn't look much easier but I wizzed through the lesson today and we had time in class to work on it so maybe the headstart will help. Yesterday when I was running errands like a mad woman I called Josh to see if he needed anything from Walmart while I was out...he had a list but before I could jot it down I had to run into the ladies room. My list was running through my head as I followed a man over to the rest rooms, I parked my cart over to the side and went in the bathroom closest that the man hadn't gone in. As I was walking in I thought that it seemed awlfully roomy in there and they must've taken few stalls down but as I made it to the back stall it registered in my mind what was so different...
there were urinals, I was in the mens room!
The reason I hadn't seen the man go in is because he had kept on walking on past the restrooms and I was so preoccupied with what needed to be done when I parked the cart, that fact had hiccupped in my brain. So fortunately there wasn't a soul in the men's room and little embarassment. Today driving home from church/errands I mentioned to Josh that last week I had gotten off on University N instead of University S exit and after that got a chuckle I mentioned the bathroom incident and he said you have got to put that on your blog. And my last unconnected thought was that last night on craigslist I found a couch that I like...what do you think?http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/fur/429225635.html I know it's plaid and a solid color would be better....actually there is a really funny one that I should've posted instead just so you would laugh again.

okay...hysterical! isn't it funny, or not so funny, how we see what we want to see, i.e. man walking into men's restroom...not past it altogether.
the couch could definitely work with solid pillows and maybe some floral pillows. i like it. that chair looks really comfy and love the ottoman.

I have just now had time to sit down and read this hilarious blog. I would love to say, "That's never happened to me!" However, I would be lying. I have done that before. I have also walked in on someone in the unisex bathroom at the gas station. Very embarassing, as well. Love the couch. Plaid is so fun! The blue is really pretty.
