Done, but just getting started

Last night I tried to make a notepad cover like I had seen on some different blogs. The fabric was a leftover scrap from a summer dress I made for Elise. I made this w/out any stabilizer and I really think it needs some. Lots of things to do different next time when I give it another go. Today I got the fridge emptied of nasty never eaten leftovers and I made my first pumpkin pie of the season....for some reason this week I opened a can of condensed milk but only used a couple of tsps so I figured want not waste not...time for pumpkin pie. Bought this season's first eggnog today when I went out for the stabilizer....Holiday baking/sewing season has begun!

I think that you are so amazing! I have been so enjoying your blog, it lets me see snapshots into your life - your victories and your struggles. The home schooling, the baking, the cooking, the sewing....all of that...I respect you so much. It isn't about perfection, it is about the effort you put into everything.

It is just me and hubby and I can't even manage to put a home cooked meal on the table, much less try to sew something. The desire to be the kind of woman and wife who is capable of such things is there, but the follow-through is obviously lacking. However, if you want to talk about wild type RAS in metastatic lung cancer tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy...that I can manage, but I wish I could be more like the Proverbs 31 woman I see in you.
