After one of my bathroom breaks on our way home from N.C., Josh handed me the laptop and suggested I check out my fellow bloggers. With the new posts read in record time I still had 38% power and surfed craft/sewing blogs. When I was down to %6 power I found thismomsews. This morning I remembered the site while I was brushing my teeth and hurried in to check it out again. Very good project ideas. Where do these women find the time to do this stuff? I think I should put the kids in school so I can play during the day! Last Monday the weather was so nice we took our spelling outside. Our cat Buzz loves books and was also enjoying the weather. Does your cat do this too? Have you found any blogs lately you want to pass on?
The other blog that seems to be every one's fav is pinkchalkstudio I found a pattern there to make a notepad cover but I am wondering if I can make it without the $10 pattern. Feeling rather gutsy right now, like I may just try it tonight...maybe school is done for today after all!

Our cat is always laying exactly where you don't want him to. On books, heads, and laps of those who don't like cats.
i looked at the thismomnews and am going to make the reusable grocery bag...but not for my groceries....for my van. I've been attaching a plastic bag to the arms of the 2 front seats...but it is such a pain to get off when it's full. i'm thinking i can just slip a plastic bag in the fabric one, like a liner. i'll post after i've figured it out.....
