The boys and I wrote thank you notes
The boys vacuumed, straightened their shelves & changed sheets
Pulled the dryer out and cleaned around it and behind litter box/shoe bin
Pledged some furniture
3 loads of laundry
Still need to:
starch & iron white damask napkins that I whitened w/lemons
pull down mini-blinds to soak and clean them
put away Christmas stuff/sewing stuff in my room
call Elise's dentist
Don't know when to put away Christmas stuff.

I'm never sure when to put away our Christmas decorations either. The 12th day of Christmas isn't until the 6th- Three Kings Day. I like to keep our decorations up until then, but when I look around everyone else is already all packed up.
we have always kept our decorations up until michael's birthday, which is the 12th day - jan. 6th. we even leave our outside christmas lights on until then. some people put their things away the day after christmas...seems wrong somehow, but not sure why

Wow, I'm a terrible housekeeper. Your list is bold! I just take my vaccuum cleaner and suck the dust off the blinds!
I take the decos down at a different time every year. Our outside lights are alway the last thing to come down.
After 3yrs of vacuming them the crud that doesn't get sucked off has built up and I am resigning myself to the dreaded soak...it's probably because I'm not a good vacumer that they need a soak.
