Josh came home last week saying that his co-worker had extra tickets to the symphony for us if we were interested. Then at small group on Wednesday it came up in conversation and one of the couples in our group was also going and weren't we excited they were playing Star Wars music?
What?
Turns out Josh left out that it was a Pops concert and they were featuring the music of John Williams. He knew all about this but neglected to tell me. Wonder why? Lori from small group came over and watched the kids while we ate a lovely meal at the Edelsons and then went to the symphony. They opened the concert with the music John Williams did for the movie John Wayne was in, Cowboys. It was beautiful. We joked at small group that I fell asleep when we went to see the re release of Star Wars and that it might just happen at the concert. After intermission it was all Star Wars music and there was even Storm Troopers walking the isles. I didn't fall asleep but then again I was sitting next to Joe Edelson.

I've only been to the symphony once...I went with Kathy when we were in highschool. I fell asleep...oops.
