Gooblecks

Flood footage always shows some teen boys riding their bikes through puddles having the time of thier life.

We have puddles

We have preteen boys

We have fun.

Add a little mud from the dump truck loads of dirt in front of a nearby house and you have a whole alternate reality of the Gooblecks. When I asked Stewart where that came from he said it was gooey and bleck....and black. The river at the end our street is flowing over the bulk head and for some reason that made me want to jump in, but by the time I retrieved the youngest manchild from the house to join us the feeling had passed me but I let the kids jump off our neighbor's dock. Wish I had taken a picture of that. My pictures really weren't turning out that good, so it probably wouldn't help share the experience anyway. Hope you're having a good day, with your pipe cleaners or kid's at school or with your feet propped up so your ankles don't swell.

Oh....my....gooblecks! I can only imagine what your tub looked like, that is unless you just lined them up in the front yard and hosed them down with the hose before letting them in the house. That's what I would've done. Looks like they had a blast.

Oh, my!!! I am the total opposite of you. If you have ever seen Jon and Kate plus eight, I am a lot like Kate. Germaphobic (is that how you spell that, or is it even an actual word?). I hate dirt, it is my enemy. My girls saw your little video log and they were like, you would never let us do that. I asked them if they'd like to ever try that, and they said GROSS! I guess my dirtaphobia? rubbed off on them. Your little girl cracks me up, I bet she's a lot like you when you were a kid, huh?

Josh put alcohol in all the kids ears after they showered. No amobeas for us.

My kids would like to know if they can come to your house. They know mom would never let them do that, but maybe I should. They are only young once. I would have loved to see you do that too.

I love it!! I hope my grandchildren grow up knowing what a special mom they have!
As GiGi said, Yes, you would have done that when you were young only we didn't have big piles of dirt and sucky mud to jump into.
Miss you all.
