I'm thinking of having this for dinner. Of course Josh and I will skip the scrumptious biscuit topping and eat a HUGE salad in addition but the kids will like like this.
(update from this morning: the kids LOVED it and Josh and I did not, I repeat, DID NOT skip the biscuit topping. I altered the recipe a little bit....
used the ground turkey I had browned last night,
I pureed two cans of Italian diced tomatoes and then added a third, I added sauteed some sweet peppers...cooked the whole thing in a big pan and double the biscuit recipe so my growing boys would be FULL....I had to put some biscuits dough on a separate tray to exists solely as biscuits and not part of the pot pie.
Everyday Food sent me this email about grocery lists for the week and if I have another minute today or in the next couple of days I'd like to spend some more time checking it out.
What are you having for dinner? Is there anything you'd like to spend time on today that is in addition to your regularly scheduled duties? Another update: something I wasted my time on today was this.....I don't score very high but that doesn't stop me from frittering away my time.

I haven't thought about dinner. I know I'm having black beans and rice for lunch.....

I really need to start a meal plan for the week.

Looks delicious! Yummy, yummy (that's with the biscuit though). We are having vegetable soup for dinner and something else, not sure yet. It's so cold in our house that a nice hot bowl of soup would hit the spot. We are trying to conserve electricity by not using the heat since our last JEA bill was RIDICULOUS from turning on the heat in the eariler months of December.

As for tasks, I've got mail and unpacking still to do but I'm ignoring them and instead going to pursue deep cleaning my kitchen (floors not included!)

Geez...by the length of this comment I should have done a blogpost on my blog!!!
