"Does not understanding raise her voice?" Proverbs 8:1 I had to laugh when I started reading today's Bible reading passage...Even wisdom raises her voice...it's not just me. Wisdom's reason for raising her voice is the same as mine :
5 You who are simple, gain prudence;
you who are foolish, gain understanding.
6 Listen, for I have worthy things to say;
I open my lips to speak what is right.
HA! I don't think my kids listen any better than mankind does to Wisdom.
I'm sure that there are a multitude of flaws in my humorous little interpretation and there are numerous more verses about holding my tongue. My favorite verse is from the end of Job
"I have said too much I will say no more." What is your favorite verse about your words?
