Work in progress

Do you have a friend you that you would like to get to spend more time with but never seem to have the opportunity? Yesterday we seized the chance to have lunch after church with some good friends...even though Josh was exhausted from his Passport to Purity weekend with Stewart, and even though Stewart was home recovering from a night/early morning of upset stomach. We got home with just enough time to make it to the once a month prayer and praise service at church. Being the more vocal one in the house, I am normally responsible for getting us to this service but feeling a tad bit rebellious I left it up to the Head of Household. In pbs-couch-nap stupor I sent one of the boys in to give the HOH a wake up warning. We then had words about who was going, who was staying and the responsibilities of getting said people in the car. We get to church and the friend we had spent lunch with is in the hallway laughing at us because we are 45 minutes late. Basically we missed the whole thing...no one bothered to check to see what time it started at...and you know we can't remember from one month to the next...shoot we can't even remember that on the first of the month there is a service. It is a miracle and an extreme outpouring of grace that we even get up in the morning. I don't even have time to be sitting here...the piano teacher wants our piano tuned and I need to be calling a piano tuner..but of course I've lost the numbers she gave me so I will have to look up the number for Kelly Piano and call them and I really should be....oh, you know....your life is the same...or is it?

yep, pretty much the same...different characters, same story. yet, it is so much more amusing to hear it rather than live it....

It is absolutely the same, except you have the three boys and a girl and I have the opposite.
