BFF

A week ago today, this is where I was.
Actually, not quite, we were still driving on the road, it didn't open until 10a.m.
We used the four free tickets Emmett scored for us when I stalked the lego crew that came to Jacksonville in September. Cathron bought tickets for Stewart and John-Thomas's birthday.  After the boys read that Legoland was for 6-12 yr olds they didn't want to go...what fun could they possibly have since they were 14 & 16?
Well, they had lots of fun.  We rode the rides as much as we wanted, even got stuck on one of them....the one that SallyCorp of Jacksonville made, whoops.

Anyway we had fun, wish we had taken a group picture of the family from church that met us there.
Shanel is my new BFF...blessed friend forever...saw that on a Natural Life product and thought of her when I saw it.
Shanel was on the trip to Czech last summer and she helps me with the kids program on Wednesday night. She says people don't get her, that's just because everyone wants to be like her. I'm only saying this because she's a closet Hope and Future reader.  She also reads the Coop Keeper, one of my favorite blogs.
What else do you want to know about her?

If I had my wishes, she would blog, and my sister and Christina....she sometimes reads too.  You don't know Christina and to be honest, I don't know her as well as I want to, nor do I get to spend any time together, unless you count the last church dinner...we sat at the same table.  I don't get to spend enough time with my blog friends either.  Shoot, I've never even met Sheri...my kids ask me why I read some one's blog that I've never even met? Honesty, perseverance, seeking righteousness, that's why.
When Legoland closed at 5 we grabbed a bite to eat at Wendy's and then Josh dropped Elise, Emmett and myself off at the Orlando airport and we flew to Indiana as is our tradition now for October 31st.
That is a post for a different day, my nose feels all prickly and my eyes ache at the thought.
And really it wasn't that difficult of trip but that's only if you keep your eyes off the waves and storm and keep them on the one you're walking out of the boat to.  I like boats, more than walking, could spend all day on a boat.
I was wondering what the next thing I am looking forward to since the Legoland/Indy trip is over and speaking of boats reminded me of the 40th birthday Cruise my dad is taking us on in April. My BFFs Susan and Tracy were supposed to go but I kinda think they might not.  But my sister is and she is also my BFF so it's all good.

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

We looooove Legoland, California. Well, Christopher and I do. Christopher just got a DVD from the Lego Club magazine and we were seeing video of the new Legoland being built and a lot of the California one. He is 12 1/2 and I know we would love to go back, again. Not sure if my hubby would be into that.

Love that Blessed Friend Forever. Reminds me of Sisterchicks. One day we will meet, but in the meantime... I can dream of visiting Florida!!!
